Spread the Word
Spread the Word lets you tell your family and friends that you would prefer to receive nocardsthanks. The first page is an introduction to this area of the site. The next page contains a form that allows you to enter details about a forthcoming event and the list of people that you want to contact.
The form will prompt you to enter the following information:
- Name - Your name. This is so that we can tell people who is spreading the word.
- Email - Your email address. You are also asked to confirm your email by entering it a second time.
- Event - An event. This will be referred to in Spread the Word notice that is emailed out.
- Preferred Charity - Specify which charity you would like to encourage your friends and family to support. People buying cards can select any of the charities listed on the site, but this is your chance to say which charity you would like people to support. You can view the list of all charities that are supported on this site on the Charities Page.
- List of Emails - enter a list of email addresses of your friends and family that you would like to tell about this site. Enter one email per line. If you would like to include a name together with an email, then use the format of Name,email.
When you have completed the information, read the Terms & Conditions and check the box to confirm that you accept the details. Next, press the Send Emails button to Spread the Word about nocardsthanks.com. The emails will be sent to your friends and family.
Select & Send
The Select & Send area is where you can choose a card and email it out to your friends and family. You can choose one card per-purchase and send it to one or more recipients.
Categories, Themes and Cards
Cards are organised by categories and themes. Select a Category and then a Theme to view the list of cards available. Use the navigation bar above the list of categories, themes and cards to go back and view different cards.
The animated cards use Flash, from Adobe. Some cards also play sounds when they are displayed.
Customise the Card
When you have selected a card, you can start to customise it ready to send. Add your name, email address and message. Please note that you can only enter plain text into the message. You are not able to enter any HTML markup.
Next, select a charity from the list. This is the charity that you will be supporting with a donation from the price of the card that you buy. You can view information about the charities by clicking on the Details link or by viewing the charity information on the Charities Details Page.
Press the Next button to proceed to add the recipients.
Recipient List
Next, you enter the list of people that you want to email. You can send the card to one person, or choose from one of the special bundle prices. Each bundle allows you to send the card to multiple people.
The screen will display a table with input boxes for you to enter the name and email address of each person that you want to send the card to. The number of input boxes shown will depend on the bundle option that you have selected. To change the bundle price, select an option from the drop-down list on the page. It should modify the number of input boxes for you. If it does not, please press the Refresh button next to the drop-down list.
If you have selected a bundle size of 10, for example, but then decide that you would like to change this to a bundle size of 5, you will be asked to confirm that you want to reduce the list. Press OK to confirm this change. Press Cancel to keep the current bundle size.
You must enter details for a person for each of the entries in a bundle. For example, if you select a bundle size of 5, then you must enter the details of 5 people. It is not possible to select 5 but only specify 4 people to send the card to.
When you have entered all of the recipients, press the Next button to proceed to the next stage.
Confirm Purchase
Finally, please review the card information. If you want to make any changes, please use the list of options at the top of the page. When you are happy with the card, review the terms and conditions and check the box to confirm that you agree with the details. Press the confirm button to proceed to pay for the card.
A screen will be displayed to direct you to the Barclays payment site. For most users, this will automatically redirect to you the Barclays site. If it does not redirect you within a few seconds, press the button to continue with the payment process.
The next set of pages are on the Barclays online payment website. Please enter your card details. When your payment has been accepted, press the Complete Purchase button on the Barclays screen to return to nocardsthanks.com. On successful payment, your friends and family will be emailed to tell them to view the card. You will also be emailed a receipt by nocardsthanks.com and Barclays.
Your friends and family will be able to view the card for up to 60 days from the date you purchased the card.
To send another card, please return to the start and select a new category.
Select & SendCollect a Card
When you have been sent a card, you will be sent an email that explains how to access the email. If you click the link in the email, you will be taken directly to your card. Alternatively, you can visit the Collect a Card page. Enter the collection code that you have been emailed.
You can view your card at any time for up to 60 days from the date it was purchased.

This site uses Flash for the animated card designs. To view these cards, you will need the Flash Player, which is available at the Adobe website.
